Center for Character Development

Center for Character DevelopmentCreated in 1993, the Air Force Academy's Center for Character Development facilitates character development programs and activities throughout all aspects of the Academy experience.

The center's objective is to graduate officers who have the forthright integrity and voluntarily decide the right thing to do; who are selfless in service to the United States, the Air Force and their subordinates; who are committed to excellence in the performance of their professional and personal responsibilities; who respect the dignity of all human beings; who are decisive, even when facing high risk; who take full responsibility for their decisions; who bear the self-discipline, stamina and courage to do their duty well; and who appreciate the significance of personal values and beliefs to their own character development and that of the community.
