U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Chief of Space Operations Gen. John W. “Jay” Raymond speaks to senior cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy, March 3, 2021, specifically those who have been selected to commission into the U.S. Space Force.

“Not only will you operate and defend the world’s best space capabilities, you will be the core of our new service,” Raymond said.

The general encouraged all cadets to look for opportunities to lead, set high standards and remain examples of dignity and respect throughout their careers. As of March 3, 116 senior cadets are scheduled to commission directly into the U.S. Space Force in May.
