tabCharacter and Leadership Development Team
The cadet Character and Leadership Development Team develops character and leadership by working alongside permanent-party mentors to plan and execute the Center's capstone events. CaLD is also affiliated with the Colorado Leadership Alliance, a program of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation that fosters leadership development at the university level, whereby cadet and civilian student counterparts interact on the study of leadership and its practice. El Pomar Foundation supports students of the CLA at the ten campus programs in Colorado.

CaLD cadets take advantage of professional development opportunities such as the El Pomar Foundation's Student Leadership Experience, El Pomar's Leadership Summit, and the Texas A&M Abbot Leadership Conference. Cadets serve as El Pomar Scholars, attend SLE conferences and serve on the CLA Student Board.
