Cadet Sponsor Program
 The Cadet Sponsor Program offers people in the community a unique and rewarding opportunity to provide cadets with exposure to family life and a home away from home during their time at the Academy. It also offers a chance to support the Academy and meet firsthand tomorrow's Air Force leaders.
The information in the documents below is designed both to encourage your participation in the process and to aid you as a cadet sponsor. It provides valuable information on the philosophy surrounding the sponsor program, insight into cadet life and responsibilities, your responsibilities as a cadet sponsor and information on how and when to contact cadets.

REQUIREMENTS
-- Civilian families must provide a letter of introduction, two letters of recommendation from friends or co-workers and a completed sponsor survey form.
-- Families of cadets or graduates must provide a letter of introduction a completed sponsor survey form.
-- Active-duty servicemembers, retirees or Department of Defense civilians must complete the sponsor survey form and meet certain pay grade requirements: officers must be O-3 or above, enlisted servicemembers must be E-6 or above, and DOD civilians must be GS-5 or above.
