ROBERT C. "ROBIN" HAYES

Robin C. Hayes is a member of the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors. As a member of the Board, Mr. Hayes inquires into the morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods and other matters relating to the Academy that the Board decides to consider.

Mr. Hayes was appointed to the Board in 2009 by the President.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Hayes is a licensed highway contractor, commercial pilot, President of Central Motor Lines, President of the Cannon Charitable Trust, Director of the Cannon Foundation and owner of Mount Pleasant Hosiery Mill. He is a former Congressman from North Carolina's 8th District and a former teaching fellow at the Kennedy School at Harvard.

Bachelor in Science, History, Duke University
