Colo. Springs bases respond to Waldo Canyon fire
Trucks carrying fire retardant supplies enter Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., June 25, 2012. Two C-130 Hercules from the Wyoming Air National Guard's 153rd Airlift Wing joined two more C-130s from the 302nd Airlift Wing to help fight the Waldo Canyon fire near Colorado Springs and the High Park fire in northern Colorado. The retardant helps slow the fire's spread, allowing firefighters on the ground to better contain the blaze. (U.S. Air Force photo/Don Branum)
