Academy identifies fallen cadet
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --
Air Force Academy officials identified Sept. 17 a cadet who was pronounced dead at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo., Sept. 16.
Cadet 1st Class Marc Henning, 22, was a native of Crossville, Ill., and was assigned to Cadet Squadron 20.
A memorial service originally scheduled to be held Sept. 20 at the Cadet Chapel here has been canceled. A funeral service will be held in Illinois at a date to be determined.
The cause of death remains under investigation.
