ROTC cadet injured in parachute accident

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --   An ROTC cadet was injured here June 25 while executing a parachute jump at the Air Force Academy.

The cadet is attending a summer parachute training program.

He has been transported on a Flight for Life helicopter to Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs.

The next of kin have been notified.

More details will be provided as they become available. A safety board is investigating this accident.
