Twenty-eight Academy staff sergeants found out they were selected for promotion to technical sergeant July 21.The 7,501 technical sergeant selects represent 22.35 percent of the 33,569 staff sergeants eligible for promotion across the Air Force. The selects will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning in August.
