Participants include cadets, Academy faculty and students from colleges around the country.

"NCLS allows our cadets and faculty to explore challenging topics that are essential for their development as critical thinkers and professionals," said Brig. Gen. Andrew Armacost, dean of faculty. "The insights and compelling stories often trigger important discussions that filter into the classrooms and dorm rooms across the Academy and beyond."

This year's speakers include Mike Farrell, actor, activist, and author, retired general Norton Schwartz, 19th Air Force chief of staff, Gen.
