Artist builds scale-model chapel from toothpicks

Sooner or later, something like this had to happen.

Earlier this month, artist Stan Munro called Stephen 'Pete' Peterson, the Cadet Chapel's public relations director, regarding a 1:164 scale model of the famed chapel made of toothpicks.

The artist is currently working on the world's largest toothpick structure, Mr. Peterson said. Called "Toothpick City II: Temples and Towers," the display of more than 40 famous religious buildings should be done by December, breaking the world record for the largest toothpick structure.
