12/13/2011 - U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- An Air Force Academy cadet assigned to Cadet Squadron 20 was killed in a single-car accident on Academy Drive on Dec. 10.
Cadet 2nd Class Stephen Williams was a manager for the Air Force Falcons football team and a systems engineering management major.
"Our Air Force Academy family suffered a tragic loss over the weekend," Commandant of Cadets Brig. Gen. Richard Clark said Dec. 12. "That Stephen's death occurred on the eve of the holidays makes this an even greater tragedy. Please keep Stephen's family, friends and wingmen in your thoughts."
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
