Academy to hold private service for fallen '07 graduate
1/6/2011 - U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- A graveside service for 2007 Air Force Academy graduate Capt. Martin Anthony Riggan Jr., and his wife, Nicole Riggan, is scheduled to be held Jan. 8 at the Academy Cemetery.
The funeral is closed to the public.
Both Captain Riggan and his wife died as a result of injuries sustained in a private plane crash Dec. 22 at the Colorado Springs Airport. Captain Riggan was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., as a B-1 Lancer pilot.
