Public Affairs

The public affairs mission at the U.S. Air Force Academy is one of the most diverse of any public affairs office in the Air Force. Public affairs publishes a weekly base newspaper, the Academy Spirit, conducts outreach to local and national media and manages the Air Force Academy Visitor Center, which receives more than 500,000 guests each year.

In addition, the Academy's PA office oversees the U.S. Air Force Academy Band, located at nearby Peterson Air Force Base, and traveling demonstrations such as "Wings of Blue," the Academy's parachutist team, and cadet falconers.
