Chief Master Sergeant JEREMY C. SCHONEBOOM

Chief Master Sgt. Jeremy C. Schoneboom serves as the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 10th Air Base Wing, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. In this capacity, he advises the Commander on all matters pertaining to the health, morale, welfare and effective utilization of more than 3,000 officers, enlisted and civilian personnel. He advises the wing's senior leaders to ensure effective training, professional development, and career broadening opportunities of assigned personnel. As the Command Chief, he helps the commander ensure effective security, civil engineering, communications, logistics, personnel, financial management, contracting, chaplaincy, equal opportunity, legal, lodging, food services, and medical operations necessary to support the nation's sole Air and Space Force Academy, and a military community consisting of over 25,000 personnel.

Chief Master Sgt. Schoneboom is a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado and enlisted in the Air Force in 1996. He graduated from Electrical Power Production Apprentice School in November 1996. His background includes various assignments in Civil Engineer, Air Control, Intelligence, Aircraft Maintenance and Air Support Operations squadrons. Throughout his career, he has filled a myriad of roles including Non-commissioned Officer in Charge, Electrical Power Production, Section Chief, Zonal Maintenance, Intelligence Group Facility Manager, Superintendent, Commander's Support Staff, First Sergeant, Squadron Superintendent and Mission Support Group Senior Enlisted Leader. He has completed eight deployments in support of operations around the world, including two in Iraq, four in Kuwait and two tours in Saudi Arabia. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the 23rd Mission Support Group Senior Enlisted Leader supporting 1,500 civilian and military Airmen at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. His assignments include Offutt AFB, Nebraska; Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany; Lajes Field, Azores; Anderson AFB, Guam; Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England; Beale AFB, California, Holloman AFB, New Mexico, Fort Carson, Colorado, Aviano AB, Italy, Moody AFB, Georgia and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
