CHARLES P. E. KIMBLE Charles Kimble serves as Deputy Director, 10th Mission Support Group, 10th Air Base Wing, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He co-leads 1,900 military and civilian employees across six squadrons responsible for civil engineering; security forces; morale, welfare and recreation programs; communications; military and civilian personnel programs; transportation, supply and contracting for 14,000 personnel. Mr. Kimble was previously the Deputy Director of the 421st Air Base Squadron, RAF Menwith Hill, United Kingdom, England, where he provided management oversight of the site’s Security, Civil Engineer, Force Support, Legal Office, and Safety Office.Mr. Kimble was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. He retired from the Air Force in 2016 after a military career spanning 30 years. His background predominantly included various duties within the Air Force A1 and Force Support Squadron enterprise with extensive leadership experience at the organization, group, wing and major command levels. His stateside assignments included bases in Nebraska, South Carolina, Alaska, Nevada, Hawaii and North Carolina, and overseas in the Philippines, Japan, South Korean and European regions.CIVILIAN ASSIGNMENTS1.
