REPRESENTATIVE DOUG LAMBORN Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) is a member of the Air Force Academy's Board of Visitors. As a member of the Board, Congressman Lamborn inquires into the morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods and other matters relating to the Academy that the Board decides to consider. Congressman Lamborn was appointed to the Board in 2007 by the Speaker of the House. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Congressman Lamborn represents Colorado's 5th District. His committee assignments include the House committees of Veterans' Affairs and Natural Resources and the subcommittees of Disabilities Assistance and Memorial Affairs, Water and Power, and National Parks, Forests and Public Lands. Prior to his election to Congress, he served in the Colorado Legislature from 1995-2006. He has been an attorney in private general practice in Colorado Springs for 20 years, with an emphasis on business and real estate.
