    Good afternoon, I hope that this email finds you and your family healthy and doing well. While some of us are teleworking and others are actually going to work, regardless of your current situation we all have limited movement outside of our homes due to COVID-19 (Corona Virus).

    The top priority of the 10th Medical Group is the health and welfare of its beneficiaries. We are prepared to help combat the spread of COVID-19 and are taking measures to ensure that the health of personnel and communities are not impacted by the spread of this virus.

    As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to make sweeping changes to the way we do business at USAFA, and that includes moving our academic courses to an on-line environment. Making this move will be a big adjustment for both you and your faculty members, and it is important that we all work together to maintain the high standards that we all expect of each other. I have written this guidance to highlight a few issues that are of particular importance to me, as well as to our faculty and staff.
  • USAFA COVID-19 Actions//Public Health Emergency & HPCON C

    To facilitate coordination with El Paso County in support of their proclamation of a local emergency, as well as civilian authorities, and all local military installations, I am declaring a public health emergency (please see attached). In addition we have made the decision to move to Health Protection Condition Charlie (HPCON C) and there are measures we must now all take (see attached and below) to further ensure the health and safety of our population.
