Air Force to take on San Diego State Sept. 26

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force will return to Falcon Stadium Sept. 26 after a two-game series on the road against the University of Minnesota Sept. 12 and the University of New Mexico Sept. 19.

Air Force lost to the Minnesota Gophers 20-13 but defeated the New Mexico Lobos 37-13 in their first Mountain West Conference game of the season.

The Falcons have won three of the last four meetings versusĀ the AztecsĀ and lead the overall series 18-9. The teams' last game at Falcon Stadium was in 2007, which Air Force won 55-27.

The Mountain West Sports Network will televise the game. Radio coverage will include KVOR AM 740 in Colorado Springs, KCKK 1510 AM in Denver and northern Colorado. The Air Force Academy's Twitter and Facebook pages will carry highlights throughout the game with statistics and recaps at halftime and immediately after the game.
