Smooth your commute: Help 10th CES locate potholes

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The 10th Civil Engineering Squadron could use your help identifying road damage and potholes at the Air Force Academy.

You may have noticed quite a few of our roads and parking areas have developed large potholes; these defects start small and while a pockmark in the surface of the pavement might not seem like a lot to worry about, it can take on moisture or water, freeze in low temperatures and expand. Multiply this by high traffic, heavy vehicles, and weather conditions, and you have the perfect recipe for potholes.

The 10th CES has a pothole repair crew working to fix these defects throughout the year.

Call 719-333-2079 to report a pothole, and describe the area with a facility number, intersection or vicinity. Leave your name and contact information so we can contact you for more information.
