Join us in celebrating the Center of Excellence for Medical Multimedia’s 20th Birthday. During the last two decades, the CEMM has created innovative educational programs and products benefiting millions of patients and healthcare providers around the globe.

Founded by the Air Force Surgeon General’s office in 1996, the CEMM’s success can be directly linked to the unfailing dedication to excellence of Total Force Airmen who served in this specialized unit. As an Air Education and Training Command asset located on the beautiful Air Force Academy, the CEMM has grown exponentially, and is recognized as an award-winning leader in the multimedia educational industry.

The CEMM’s fundamental mission is to develop evidence-based, interactive educational programs for the Air Force Medical Service. These products integrate prevention and self-management into everyday clinical practices to complement and support the educational efforts of qualified healthcare professionals. Our vision is to empower patients and build healthy military communities through knowledge delivered via cutting edge multimedia programs and tools.

The CEMM continues to transform its existing education and training products and create new programs to build future military organizations deploying state of the art learning concepts by leveraging new and emerging technology. Our nationally recognized DVDs, cds, mobile applications and websites, provide tools to healthcare personnel and leaders to fortify the foundations of the Patient Centered Medical Home in their medical facilities and support readiness platforms.

The CEMM educational tools improve medical conditions, care delivery and healthcare outcomes through the support and integration of Clinical Practice Guidelines and research in their programs. With 20 years of experience in multimedia education and over 150 products and tools, the CEMM stands strong and ready to support the future medical educational needs of the Air Force, Defense Department and all Tricare beneficiaries.
