U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Several small sections of the New Santa Fe Trail on the U.S. Air Force Academy will close through November 2020 for required Federal Emergency Management Agency repairs and to include traffic rerouting on Academy Drive.
Repairs include trail resurfacing, culvert repair, replacement of eroded slopes and correction of the concrete located at the Monument Creek low water crossing.
Academy officials advise trail users to proceed with caution through these areas during this time. Trail users are required to get off their bicycles and horses and approach the construction area with caution.
