U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The 10th Security Forces Squadron uses a surface-danger zone in the northwest area of the Air Force Academy for weapons training.

The fenced area is marked with off-limits signs and is off limits to anyone not attending official training. Cathedral Rock, in the surface-danger zone, is off limits unless a visit is coordinated through the 10th SFS Combat Arms staff.

Trespassing is illegal and may be dangerous because of gunfire. Anyone in the area without permission could be detained and face prosecution under federal and civil law.

Call 333-2218, 333-3124 or 333-0999 during duty hours or 333-2000 after duty hours to coordinate a visit.
