U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Richard M. Clark and the Class of 2021 are honored to announce the 20th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark A. Milley, will be the commencement speaker for the Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony on May 26, 2021.

General Milley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Princeton University in 1980. He has a master’s degree in international relations from Columbia University, and a national security and strategic studies master’s degree from U.S. Naval War College. He is also a graduate of the MIT Seminar XXI National Security Studies Program.

“General Milley has served in numerous command and staff positions as well as several operational deployments throughout his distinguished Army career,” said Lt. Gen. Clark. “Graduating cadets and their loved ones are privileged to have the opportunity to welcome the chairman and hear his thoughts and insights on leadership and service.”

Lt. Gen. Clark announced earlier this month that each graduating cadet will be allowed at least three guests for the graduation ceremony. Guests must sit together for the ceremony in assigned public health designated ratios.

Additional graduation details will continue to be provided at www.usafa.af.mil. All details are subject to change based on Department of Defense, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and local and state public health COVID guidelines.
