Emergency response exercise at the Academy May 19

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – U.S. Air Force Academy personnel will conduct a scheduled emergency response exercise May 19 from 7:30 a.m. to noon to test a variety of response scenarios to ensure base readiness.

This exercise may cause short delays at the Academy’s South and North gates that morning. In addition, there may be traffic disruptions and potentially some temporary delays in service around base.

Those who live and work on the Academy should expect to see increased activity and emergency response vehicles and personnel.

We ask our military members, military families and community members for their patience. This exercise will not impact current base access guidelines.
