ID Check: Academy’s athletic officials join security forces at north gate

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force Academy’s top athletics officials assisted Airmen assigned to the 10th Security Forces Squadron check the identification of drivers traveling on the base, May 20.

Nate Pine, the school’s athletics director, and Jennifer Block, executive director of athletics, spent an hour at the Academy’s north gate checking the ID’s of workers, family members and official visitors to the base.

The base remains closed to non-Defense Department ID card holders due to health and safety restrictions set in place as the base continues to operate during a Public Health Emergency

The 10th SFS is assigned to the 10th Air Base Wing, the Academy’s host unit.
