U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force defeated Texas-Pan American 72-65 at Clune Arena Jan. 2 on a career-high 25 points by center Mike McLain.

McLain, a native of Portland, Ore., also led Air Force in rebounds with seven. Other high scorers for the Falcons were junior forward Derek Brooks, with 16, and junior guard Evan Washington, with 13.
