Showtime instructions for graduation ceremony Published May 21, 2012 By 050512 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Media members already credentialed to cover the Air Force Academy's Class of 2012 Graduation Ceremony must arrive at Falcon Stadium's Gate 1 no later than 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 23. All press must enter the Academy through the South Gate and show their press credentials to the gate guards. Once through the gate, follow signs to Falcon Stadium. There is no reserved media parking; however, all media must park on the south side of the stadium near Gate 3 on the scoreboard side. Media ground rules are below: Media must check in with Academy Public Affairs personnel at Gate 1 to collect badge Media must be in place on the media platform by 9:15 a.m. Media must stay on media platform at all times Media must have PA escort to media center, etc.; very restricted movement PA will work arrangements for hat toss shots Please use caution on media platform and limit movement to alleviate camera shake for video cameras Placement on platform based on first come, first served. Wireless internet will be available in the media center. There are limited power capabilities in the media center, so please ensure all batteries are charged before arrival. Light refreshments will be available as well. Only media members who submitted credential information will be allowed in the stadium.
