Media advisory: Academy to conduct base exercise, Thurs, March 5

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Academy will conduct a base-wide emergency management exercise Thursday, March 5.

There may be some delays at both gates on Thursday and visitors may observe activities related to emergency response. Academy officials want to assure the public that this activity is planned and controlled, and ask that on-base drivers proceed with caution.

The Academy is open to visitors daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors should enter through the North Gate, exit 156 off of I-25. Valid photo identification is required when visiting the Academy.
