The Air Force Academy will host the 14th annual Colorado Springs Undergraduate Research Forum April 15 in Polaris and Arnold halls.

The forum is a collaborative venture between Colorado College, the Academy and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

“The event gives undergraduate students from all three institutions the opportunity to present their research and creative work in a formal academic setting and receive feedback from scholars and peers,” said Lt.

Col. David Morris, the project officer and assistant biology professor here.

Morris said the forum will help cadet students polish the skills involved in formal presentation, job interviews or continuing education, through graduate and other professional study.

“We have over 400 registered attendees for the event,” he said. “Of our registered attendees, we have more than 280 student presenters from the Academy, Colorado College and UCCS.”

The forum also includes a poster presentation, with students and cadets scheduled to explain a poster representing a current research project.
