Fellow Airmen:

As we approach the holiday season, we pause to thank you for the enduring sacrifices you and your families make for America. The demands we place on you are immense and you continue to be guardians for the nation. We hope you’ll take time to reflect on the significance of everything you’ve accomplished this year, and thank your family and friends who provided their unwavering support in all your endeavors.

Many of you will not be home this holiday season. Standing watch here at home and around the globe, you and your families hold a special place in our thoughts and prayers. On behalf of all Americans, thank you for the security you provide for the rest of us.

It’s an honor to serve with you.  Have a safe and happy holiday season!
