Secretary of Defense Mattis scheduled to give USAFA Class of '18 commencement address

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --  

Secretary of Defense James Mattis will conduct the commencement address for the Air Force Academy’s Class of 2018 graduation ceremony, May 23 at Falcon Stadium.

This will be his first visit to the Academy as defense secretary. 

The last defense secretary to deliver the address was Robert Gates in 2007.
