U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria, superintendent of the Air Force Academy, will host a State of the U.S. Air Force Academy briefing for community leaders 1 p.m., April 6 in Polaris Hall.
Silveria will discuss developments at the Academy that have occurred since he took command in August, including the achievements of a number of standout cadets and teams across campus. He will announce and discuss new initiatives and projects under way or soon to come. His remarks will tie each events into his leadership priorities and the trajectory of education, training and culture at the Academy.
The event is not open to the general public but media are invited to cover it.
The general’s address will be broadcast live on the Academy’s Facebook page, “US Air Force Academy (Official)."
