USAFA Class of '22 to arrive June 28

The U.S. Air Force Academy's next class of cadets is scheduled to arrive at the military base and school June 28 to begin Basic Cadet Training.   


Approximately 1,200 young men and women are slated to begin arriving at the Academy at 7:30 a.m. that day to get uniforms and haircuts and be assigned to a training squadron. 

 

The basic cadets are slated to take the cadet Oath of Allegiance 7:30 a.m., June 29 at at Stillman Field.   

Basic Cadet Training end August 4 and included rigorous military, physical and weapons training, uniform and dorm inspections, marching drills, honor and ethics lessons and instruction on the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the Air Force’s core values of "Integrity First," "Service Before Self" and "Excellence in All We Do."
