Academy closed to visitors April 9 due to weather

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --  The Air Force Academy is closed to all visitors April 9 because of high winds and snow.

Only Defense Department ID cardholders will be allowed on the installation.

The base will re-open to visitors April 10 if officials determine that weather permits.
