Academy to conduct base exercise April 4

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Academy will conduct a base-wide exercise Thursday, April 4.
The public can anticipate delays at both gates on Thursday. In addition, the visiting public will not be able to access the Cadet Chapel until 1 p.m. This will include the Chapel Wall and Chapel Trail leading from the Visitor Center.
The Visitor Center and Gift Shop will be open normal operating hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Academy officials want to assure the public that this activity is planned and controlled, and ask that on-base drivers proceed with caution.
