Nearly 60 selected for promotion to maj. Published April 1, 2013 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Nearly 60 officers from across the Academy have been selected for promotion in the field grade officer ranks, according to a March 29 news release from the Air Force Personnel Center. "The number of officers promoted at the Academy is a testament to the quality of the Air Force's officer corps," said Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Mike Gould. "The efforts and leadership of each of these officers is crucial as we go forward with the Academy's mission of developing leaders of character. I hope we all get a chance to make the rounds and congratulate these men and women as soon as possible." Selected for promotion to colonel is Lt. Col. Nathan Johnson. Selected to promotion for lieutenant colonel are Chaplain (Maj.) Joshua Narrowe and Maj. Ryan Maresh.
