Academy announces O-4, O-5 promotions

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --  One captain and 33 majors here were selected for promotion to major and lieutenant colonel Aug. 26, according to the Academy's Directorate of Personnel.

Four medical service corps officers were selected, with the remainder of selections naming Line of the Air Force officers for promotion.

The Air Force selected 70 percent of eligible MSC majors to lieutenant colonel in their promotion zones and 21 percent above the zone. Nearly 75 percent of eligible LAF officers were promoted to lieutenant colonel.

The Air Force Academy's newly selected promotees are:
