Air Force Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Mike Gould will make a guest appearance on National Public Radio's "Wait, Wait ... Don't Tell Me!" to be taped at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs May 6 at 7 p.m.

The program is scheduled to air in Colorado Springs on NPR affiliate KRCC 91.5 FM May 8 at 11 a.m.

General Gould will participate in a segment titled "Not My Job." During that segment, he will discuss the Air Force Academy and his role as superintendent with host Peter Sagal and will take a quiz comprizing three questions that have nothing to do with his job. If the general answers two of three questions correctly, a call-in contestant will win an answering machine message from NPR's Carl Kasell.

The segment is reputed to be light-hearted and good-natured, with occasional comments made by guest panelists who will include Tom Bodett, Paul Provenza and Faith Salie on Thursday's show.

To find out when the show with General Gould will air in their area, listeners outside Colorado Springs can call their local NPR affiliates or check the network's broadcast schedule on NPR's website.
