Academy to host inaugural Front Range Car and Bike Fest Published April 22, 2010 By Academy Public Affairs U.S. Air Force Academy Public Affairs U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The U.S. Air Force Academy will host the inaugural Front Range Car and Bike Fest at Falcon Stadium Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature the following: Car and bike show Safe riding seminars Poker run Live bands Vendor village Fire department display Glider display Door prizes The show is free for spectators and costs $10 to register a car or bike, which includes one hand in the poker run. Proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The schedule of events is as follows: 9:00: gates open 9:30: poker run (first bike/car out) 10:00: Air Force Academy Band's Wild Blue Country performance 11:00: poker run returns 1:30: car and bike judging begins 2:30: presentation of trophies 3:00: car and bike fest concludes For more information and to register your car or bike contact Maj.
