17th-annual NCLS concludes at the Academy

USAF Academy, Colo. -- The 17th-annual National Character and Leadership Symposium concluded February 19, 2010 at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Cadets, faculty, visiting students and community members gathered at the Academy for the three-day symposium where participants heard a variety of speakers from former NFL head coach Brian Billick to former congresswoman, and Air Force Academy graduate, Heather Wilson.

Attendees also had the privilege of listening to Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley present during a keynote session on the final day of the event.

NCLS continues to be regarded as one of the premier national symposiums in the area of character development, designed to guide cadets toward turning ethical reasoning into action, improving knowledge of ethics and foundations of character, and developing a sense of moral courage.
