Tickets are still available for the Air Force-Army game at Falcon Stadium Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time.

Fans can buy tickets through the Athletics Ticket Office by calling 719-472-1895 (locally) or 800-666-8723 (toll-free) or going online to www.goairforcefalcons.com.

The Falcons lead the Black Knights with an overall record of 29-13-1 in the two teams' matchups. The Falcons have won three straight and 11 of the last 12 and is 17-3 for home games in the series.

Defense dominated the teams' last meeting at West Point in 2008, with Air Force held to 142 yards rushing versus 143 rushing yards for the Black Knights. Air Force won 16-9 on a rushing touchdown by then-freshman quarterback Tim Jefferson and three field goals by placekicker Ryan Harrison.

The 2009 Falcons have the fourth-best running offense in the nation, averaging 276 yards per game. Air Force is in fourth place in the Mountain West Conference with an overall 5-4 record and a conference record of 4-2.

A win against Army this week will make the Falcons bowl-eligible for the third straight year since Troy Calhoun took over as head coach. The Falcons played in the 2007 and 2008 Armed Forces Bowls but lost to the California Golden Bears (42-36) and the Houston Cougars (34-28), respectively.

The match will be the first of two back-to-back home games for the Falcons, who are scheduled to play UNLV Nov. 14.
