Air Force football practice to start Aug. 3 Published Aug. 25, 2009 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force football team opens 2009 fall practices Aug. 3 at 8:40 a.m. at the practice fields located behind the Cadet Field House. The Falcons will not host a media day this season, but Air Force players and coaches are available each day after practice until school starts Aug. 6. Once school starts the media availability listed below goes into effect. The team's practices are open to the public each day prior to the beginning of the season with the following guidelines. Those watching practices are not allowed to text message, blog or report (including injuries) on anything that happens during a weekday practice. Only the first three periods of practice are open for photography/video to the media only. Failure to following these guidelines will result in closing future practices. Once the team hits game week Aug. 31, practices are open Mondays through Wednesdays only. Pre-School Practice Schedule Aug. 3: 8:40 to 10:45 a.m. Aug. 4: 8:40 to 10:45 a.m. Aug. 5: 8:40 to 10:45 a.m. Regular practice schedule Aug. 6: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 8: 9:30 a.m. Remainder of August Mondays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Fridays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays: 9:30 a.m. Game Weeks Mondays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
