AFA'S ERIC EHN NAMED INSIDE COLLEGE HOCKEY ALL-AMERICAN

U.S.A.F. ACADEMY, Colo --  Air Force junior Eric Ehn was selected as a first-team All-American by Inside College Hockey.com (INCH). Ehn is the first Falcon hockey player ever named to an All-America team.

A center from Dexter, Mich., Ehn finished the season second in the nation in scoring with 1.60 points per game, just .08 behind the national leader from Michigan, T.J. Hensick. Ehn has 24 goals and 40 assists for 64 points in 40 games. Ehn led the nation in scoring 14 of the last 18 weeks. He ranks second in the nation in assists and 11th in goals.

One of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award which will be presented April 6, Ehn led Atlantic Hockey in goals, points, assists, shots (162) and plus/minus (+28). He was one of four Falcons to play in every game, setting a new school record with 40 games. He was named the AHA Offensive Player of the Week twice.

The Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection, Ehn scored in 31 of the 40 games. He became the first Falcon to score more than 60 points in 27 years. His 40 assists are the most by a Falcon in 31 years. Ehn set a new AHA record for points in a season in conference games with 45 points (16-29-45).
