The Air Force Academy will unveil a new Southeast Asia Prisoner of War memorial here April 24 and host other events honoring the Academy's 33 Southeast Asia POWs and their families, April 23 and April 24.

The POWs are scheduled to have lunch with cadets April 23 in Mitchell Hall, followed by discussions with junior and senior cadets focused on the POW experience.

A dedication ceremony for the new memorial will be held April 24 at Doolittle Hall, followed by a reception.

Nineteen Academy POWs are scheduled to attend with their family members, and relatives of deceased POWs are also slated to attend. Should all attend, this will be the largest group of Academy POW to attend any Academy event.
