Mother of fallen cadet is missing

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --  With concern, I send this for your situational awareness. You may have seen in local media that the mother of our recently deceased Airman, Cadet 1st Class Alexandre Quiros, is missing. 

At the request of her family, U.S. Air Force Academy personnel have been assisting and supporting the family and local police in this matter. Our concern right now is for her safety and well-being as well as the welfare of the entire Quiros family. 

We are monitoring this issue closely and are providing all support possible to the Quiros family during this difficult time.

This is all the information that we have at this time and we'll provide further updates as appropriate.
