18 Academy NCOs selected for promotion to master sgt.

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --  Eighteen Academy NCOs were among the more than 4,000 selected across the Air Force for promotion to master sergeant, Air Force officials announced today.

The 4,073 selected represent a 17.96 percent selection rate, with an average selectee overall score of 352.55. Selectees' average time in grade was 4.41 years and time in service was 15.16 years. Average enlisted performance report score was 133.98; average decorations score was 11.66 promotion fitness examination average score was 69.13 and the average skills knowledge test score was 71.49.

Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, normally within 10 days of the promotion release date.

Personnel officials will notify Airmen if their selection is in question.
