Air Force football team has 42 on Dean's List Published Jan. 9, 2014 U.S. Air Force Academy Public Affairs U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force football team had 42 team members earn Dean's List honors for academic excellence for the fall 2013 semester. Cadets must earn a 3.0 grade point average or higher to make the Dean's List. "Our players work extraordinarily hard to earn the world's finest education at the Air Force Academy," said Air Force Head Football Coach Troy Calhoun. "It's a stunning achievement in college football to take 18-21 classroom semester hours (none of which are online) of the nation's most demanding curriculum and achieve at this level. To have 42 members of the Dean's List is a credit to the quality guidance and interaction of our Academy faculty, the emphasis and leadership of our staff, and ultimately, the discipline of each one of our cadets." As a whole, the Air Force Football team continues to achieve by NCAA measurements even while balancing their military and squadron obligations and committing to serve on active duty. The Air Force Football team had a single year APR of 993 for the most recent cycle, and has a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 93 percent with the most recent NCAA release.
