U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Just inside the U.S. Air Force Academy’s North Gate, traffic is reduced to one inbound lane Dec. 10, and one outbound lane Dec. 11. Maintenance of the Active Vehicle Barriers is driving the lane closure from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
During the inbound lane closure, only one inbound lane will be closed at a time and both outbound lanes will be open. During the outbound lane closure, only one outbound lane will be closed at a time and both inbound lanes will be open. Drivers arriving and departing the Academy may encounter delays and should consider using the South Gat-e as necessary.
