For the first time, the Academy is bringing its cherished annual holiday concerts “home,” inviting the local community to join us for a night of holiday music and festive fun.

The Academy Band’s annual holiday concert, “Holly & Ivy,” will be performed on Dec. 3, 4, and 9 in Arnold Hall Theatre. The program includes a pre-concert reception, which will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature multiple cadet musical performing groups and opportunities to interact with cadets and learn more about their experience at the Academy.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. and will include seasonal favorites, selections from Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Elf the Musical, and a surprise guest your child will love!

“We are incredibly excited to welcome the greater Colorado Springs community into our “home” on the installation for this year’s production of Holly & Ivy. The addition of the reception at 6 p.m. in the Ballroom is an amazing opportunity for people to meet and learn about our Cadets and their journey through the Academy while also celebrating the season,” said Lt. Col. Michael Hoerber, U.S. Air Force Academy Band commander. “Just as meaningful to us - the Holiday shows are our way to show thanks to all who support the Air Force, the Cadets, and the Academy Band year-round.”

These concerts are free and open to the public, but tickets are required and can be secured online, HERE. More information on the event is located on our website, HERE.

We sincerely hope you will be able to join us for this special holiday event, as we celebrate the season and showcase the musical talent of the Academy Band and cadets and their ability to inspire patriotism and service.
